So, I'm moved in. I'm a Virginia resident. I no longer live on the dirty, elegant streets of NYC.
Le Corbusier: "A hundred times have I thought New York is a catastrophe, and fifty times: It is a beautiful catastrophe." Sigh. Sigh! What will there be to say about Virginia in two years time?
TEN CURRENT FACTS
(1) The railroad tracks are in my backyard. LITERALLY.
(2) I just bought a blue electric typewriter for $7 at Goodwill.
(3) I am not sure if I live in the Charlottesville ghetto, but I think I felt safer in Queens.
(4) The floor of my kitchen pantry is the size of the floor of my former kitchen. TRUE STORY.
(5) There are a lot of sweet thrift stores around here.
(6) I hate moving. Stupid states! It's not like I changed COUNTRIES.
(7) I'm procrastinating because I suck at hanging pictures.
(8) I don't feel like writing or reading my dictionary. I just want to buy typewriters.
(9) I hate transitions,
(10) but I think I'll be okay.
