Some gems from my handwritten journal, since I've begun graduate school:
"I am trying to figure out my schedule for LIFE. For now, life is rather ready for whatever I should like."
"People probably think you're stuck up, but in fact it's the opposite. You're stuck down."
"Do you like how all of my journals are full of lists that never come to fruition?"
"Okay, I think there is something wrong with me. I have been (a) really, really unexplainably happy all day, (b) talking aloud to myself all day, including recreating conversations I've already had with people and then giggling to myself."
"I'm so hungry. About all I eat is toast."
"I don't know at all how to write actual sentences. I'm very bad with grammar and spelling and vocabulary. All I can do is just throw tons of details on top of each other. And guess what? I don't even like details."
"I can't get anything done. This is sort of a lie because I have been working very hard and fairly steady for the past two days."
"I can't wait to wake-up and eat an omelet. Actually, something more fantastic than an omelet - a salad! Or, no - Ihop! Oh, I don't know!"
